Q: How might the growing cooperation among Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea impact the existing global power dynamics?

A:

John Lennon had a vision, in his song Imagine, that there is no country in the world. My understanding of the vision is that the world will eventually have only one country called The Earth, and one race called Mankind.

Growing cooperation among countries is good for peace and is towards the vision of John Lennon. There are still conflicts of interest among nations, such as Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, but the conflict of interest is not an excuse to refuse cooperation. Through dialogue and conversation, through cooperation, the conflict will diminish gradually. Xi’s vision is building a common community with a shared future for mankind. China is willing to cooperate with all and every country, not limited to Russia, Iran, and North Korea. China has promoted for several decades a relationship with the US based on no conflict, no confrontation, mutual respect, and win-win cooperation.

China also promotes the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. China recently brokers the cooperation between Saudi and Iran, among 14 fractions of Palestinians. In the global power dynamic, China is pushing for cooperation and peace while the USA is inciting conflicts and wars. Growing cooperation among countries, including Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, is good for peace and prosperity in the world.

There are two slogans at the Tiananmen of Beijing. The left one reads Long Live the People’s Republic of China. The right one reads Long Live the Great Unity of the People of the World. The slogans have been at Tiananmen for 75 years since 1949.

To fulfill the vision of the unity of the people of the world, growing cooperation among countries is progress and is good for world peace. The cooperation among Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea is not exclusive, any country can join through different mechanisms, such as SOC, BRI, BRICS, RCEP, etc. These mechanisms are not exclusive and are mainly economic cooperation.

There are more opportunities for cooperation and the cooperation can overcome conflicts of interest.

People who love peace should support cooperation among countries and should support China who treat every country equally. UN should pass a resolution to endorse Xi’s vision of a Shared Future for Mankind.
