When it comes to definition, China defined democracy by the end result, and the West defined democracy by procedures. Thus, western democracy is a voting process, regardless of whether the end result is really a government by the people, of the people, and for the people.

When sticking to the voting process, the western created many different governments depending on different voting schemes. So the democracy of the UK is different from the democracy of the US.

China regards democracy as people mastering their own fate. Therefore, according to the end result, the more a government can carry out the people’s will, the more the government is democratic.

Western democracy is a capitalist democracy. The government by western democracy is actually carrying out the will of the capital, not the people’s will. In this sense, Western democracy can never elect a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. The western government is of the capital, by the capital, and for the capital. That’s capitalism. Since 2008, people have suffered. Yet Wall Street enjoys profit as usual. The 2008 financial tsunami never hurt the profit of Wall Street. When the economy has been stagnating since 2008, the stock index has been rising continually.

Chinese people want sovereignty. They don’t want to be invaded by foreign powers. They tried for hundred years, and finally, their will fulfilled in 1949. Chinese people want to pursue a better life, and the Chinese economy performs the best in the last few decades. Chinese government carries out the will of the people. The Chinese government protects people from market failure. The will of the people prevails the will of capital.

China is not a democratic country by the definition of capitalist voting procedures. China is the only democratic country in the world by the definition of the end result. The Country is named The People’s Republic of China. China is of the people, by the people, and for the people. The slogan of the Chinese government is Serving the People. The Chinese government represents the will of the Chinese people.
