Are Chinese not interested in becoming an equal to US in military because they don’t have a war economy like US and also because they have become bank for whole world and don’t want to become global policeman like US?

Confucianism ideal is a world that all nations and all people are equal. Confucius says that don’t do to others what you don’t want others to do to you. If you don’t want others to circle you militarily, don’t circle others with military deployment. Chinese want to be equal to the US and to all other nations. China doesn’t want to be policed by a hegemony power and doesn’t want to be a police to coerce other countries.
